James, That question came when Elements 13 was issued. Then I gave the tip to use Windows to set the font size for the organizer, and I got many positive answers and no negative ones, which shows that this works ok. This has no effect on the editor (and some other programs). I have switched to Windows 10 and Elements 14 and the option is still there. My personal preference is to set the interface elements to 125% on my 1920 x 1200 display.
The organizer does not change the font size, Windows can. The editor does not recognize the Windows interface settings, but since Elements 13 it can be set to show the 200% font size. Michel,Thanks again for responding.
I am using 13.1 on a Dell with 23 inch monitor at 1920 by 1080 with Windows 7 and 13.1 on an Asus Laptop with a 13 inch screen at 1920 by 1080 with Windows 10. I have tried your suggestion on both computers at 100,125,150 and 175% display settings and the font size of the drop-down menus in the Organizer does not change. The editor does goes from 100 to 200%, the latter of which is useless as half the editing options do not appear on the screen in the expert mode. The automatic mode does not seem to recognize changing display settings. I think I have seen others post they have tried your suggestion with results similar to mine. I wonder if there is an issue recognizing certain types of high resolution screens. Changing the display settings does change my icon and text sizes on my screen so Windows is doing something, but my computers will just not change the menu font sizes.

Thank you both for your comments. Neither of my displays go beyond 1080 so I am stuck with the small fonts on the laptop and on the 23 inch monitor I can read the fonts okay. Thank you Andaleeb for explaining the limitations.
This is the first time someone from Adobe has responded to this question that has been raised by many others. I guess I will use Nikon Capture NX-D on my laptop from now on as its menu fonts are easier to read. Picasa 3 is also is easier to read on the laptop.
I am assuming from your comments that 14 behaves the same way as 13 with regards to font size. Thank you both again. Rudy, I can't speak for Adobe, but here is my personal view on the matter. Windows Xp Embedded Service Pack 2 Iso. A few years ago, there was no hdpi display, and everybody was happy. Editing on laptops was considered amateurish and dangerous for your eyesight. Not on account of resolution, on account of display size and distance.
